3 Reasons to Schedule Repairs at a Porsche Certified Body Shop

When you’ve invested in a luxury drive, it’s more important than ever to ensure it gets the care it deserves. From quick service stops to major repairs, a Porsche certified body shop like Porsche Downtown LA is the best way to care for your car. Our OEM parts and expertise will keep you enjoying the road for years to come.

Exclusive Parts

Non-certified body shops often use aftermarket parts, which are designed to fit a range of engines and often have a negative impact on performance. With Porsche cars, it’s even more essential to use OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts, as many safety-critical systems may not function properly without them. If you require a serious safety-related repair, an authorized shop is the best choice.

Warranty Coverage

Even if your car can be repaired with aftermarket parts, doing so can impact your future warranty coverage. If an aftermarket part installed by a non-certified service center is found to have caused an issue, it won’t be covered by your 4-Year/50,000-Mile warranty. Certified repairs maintain your warranty coverage, and many OEM parts come with additional warranties of their own.

Advanced Techniques

When you drive your Porsche car, you can feel that it’s built to a higher standard. Repairing these one-of-a-kind vehicles requires specialized equipment to ensure every screw, bolt, and joint is in place down to the millimeter. If you want to ensure your vehicle drives just like it did when you first got behind the wheel, you’ll want to leave repairs to a team that specializes in Porsche models.
